Cabin

My family bought 3 4-wheelers this summer, and so we went to my brother in laws parents cabin up in the Uintahs by Mirror Lake and we went 4-wheeling. We had a lot of fun. We rented one 4 wheeler and so 8 people could go at one time. My parents took their black lab Cooper, and my sister brought her puppy yellow lab Sam. They had fun together. This vacation Kennady decided that she could walk!! She would always take a few steps and go down, but this trip she just watched my neice Andalynn run around so I think she decided that hey I could do that! We went to Trial River falls by Trial Lake, it was so pretty. We got to hike around the falls, and play in the water. It was really cold, I didn't get in!

St. George

Ty's family this year for a family vacation decided to go to their house in St. George and hang out. We rented 4 wheelers, and swam and just relaxed. We had a lot of fun playing Rock band, swimming and using the 4 wheelers. It was really hot down there so we took the 4 wheelers out more in the morning and evening. Kennady had a great time, this trip was when she really decided she liked to crawl up the stairs!

Washington DC/New York

This year my parents decided to take ty and I, and my sister Chelsey and her husband Kevin to Washington DC. My mom goes there a couple times a year for work, and we decided to tag along! We decided that since we were so close to New York to also spend a few days in New York and go to a Yankees game, and see the sights. We spent 3 days in DC and saw everything we could see in those 3 days. We went to Ghettysburg for a day and learned about the battle of Ghettysburg, it was very interesting. We had a lot of fun, but did a lot of walking! It was very tiring. We flew to New York and went to a Yankee game, they played the Blue Jays and won! It was exciting game, they were down 1 with 2 out, 2 strikes in the bottom of the 9th, when the Giambino hit a homerun to win! We sat at the very top of the stadium, there was no one behind us. We all enjoyed the game, but at times I think we all fell asleep! We were so tired. After the game we were outside and saw Derek Jeter drive away in his Ford Explorer! We walked around times square, and did a 5 hour tour of Manhattan. It was very fast, but very thorough! New York is a lot like I imagined, very busy, and people honking all the time! They even have signs that say "no honking" with a fine! DC was also very cool, it was a lot different than I expected. All the museums were amazing, and the Memorials were really fascinating and cool too.
