Basketball is now in full swing and we have played 4 games already ah. For those of you that don't know I coach the Bingham girls sophomore basketball team. It is so fun, but so busy 6 days a week! Jenny Wright (Clough) is coaching with me and she is so fun and good, I am glad to have her. But before tryouts Ty and I wanted to do something fun together before the craziest next four months came. So we decided to go on a hike. We knew there would be snow, but we didn't dress very well for it. We wore tennis shoes and not even very warm pants. So we did some research and went on this hike up the canyon and it was supposed to take us to a lake that was only 2 1/2 miles long. So we started at about 2 in the afternoon thinking this would not take us very long. So we got hiking and took a few pictures, and after about an hour and a half we kept thinking gee where is this lake! We kept thinking it was just around the next corner! And we were getting so tired, we felt so old and out of shape. But it was pretty steep and in snow (that is our excuse!)We finally ran into some hikers coming down and we asked how far away we were, little did we know we went on the wrong hike! And the lake on this trail was like another 5 miles up! We didn't bring a flashlight so we would have never made it! So we just decided to sit and eat our lunch in this meadow and went back. So not a very successful hike, but it was still fun to hang out together and just have fun!
