This past week has been really crazy! On Tuesday Tyceson's great grandma who is 91 past away in her sleep. His parents went to her house to mow her lawn and found her. She was such an amazing example of strength and perseverance. She was so independent and could get around really well for being 91. She lost her husband about 20 years ago and she has been alone, and I think she was mad at him for making her stay here that long! She past away on September 23, exactly 23 years to the day when her and her husband got sealed in the temple! So touching, and so cute. I know he came to get her, and I bet she hit him and asked what took him so long. But the good thing about her staying here that we were all able to be blessed by her example and love. We were able to get a 5 generation picture with Kennady this summer and I am so glad we were able to do that with her, it will be such a cool thing for Kennady to have. So Ty's moms side of the family is all from California, so they all came up and we got to have a lot of fun with them. We had a big family dinner on Friday night that Andrea and I cooked and it was really fun for everyone. The funeral and stuff was on Saturday. It was really sad, but really good she was ready to go and she lived a good full life and she pretty much had her health with her the whole time. We will miss Grandma Sutherland, but will always remember her and her legacy she left behind.

Kennady's Surgery

When Kennady was born, she had a problem with her eyes clearing out, her tear ducts were clogged. Her left one finally cleared out about 4 months after she was born. Her right eye never fully cleared up. We had to put ointment in her eye 3 times a day for a whole year! Her eye would get infected really easy, and she always had a goopy eye. Whenever she would wake up in the morning or after her naps she always had a crusty eye, it was horrible! I hated dealing with it. Well finally at a year they do something about it, so we had to go to the eye Dr (which was a 3 hour experience waiting in a Dr's office) and they did surgery on her eye on September 4th (I know I am behind on this). It was not a very hard procedure, but she had to have anesthesia, which I was really scared and nervous about. They went in and unclogged the blockage, then they took a little balloon thing and opened up her tear duct a little more. It was scary, and she had to wait in the surgery waiting room for a long time! She could not eat or drink the whole time either. We got there at 9 and her surgery was supposed to be at 10:20, but they didn't take her until almost noon! She kept signing "drink" it was so sad, we just had to keep her busy with toys and books! She got to wear these cute hospital pajamas! When they came to get her we got to walk for a little while back to the operating room, then they took her from me and she like freaked out! I did too! She was crying so hard, I was crying, it was aweful!! But about 25 minutes later the Dr came and said it all went good, I got to go back to the recovery room, and she was not happy crying really loud, and so I got to be with her for that! Everything was good, later that day she acted like nothing was even wrong, or nothing had happened! And her eye is perfect now! No more Goop!! YEAH !! All that we went through in a whole year for it to be just perfect now! But here are some pics of her at the hospital, we forgot our camera so these are off Ty's phone.

Helping Mommy!

So as we have been moving, and unpacking and putting everything away, Kennady has been not our most helpful helper! She likes to put things back in boxes, and when we put stuff away she likes to get them back out. But on Tuesday night I was just cleaning some stuff up a little bit and was like wiping down marks, and stuff on the walls. Well I went back into the hall and Kennady had found a rag and was wiping the walls with it like she was cleaning! It was so funny, then she just looked at me and jabbered something, kind of like "come on mom get back to work." I have trained her well! I also tried to do her hair in pig tails, that didn't stay in too long!

New furniture (well refurbished I guess)

So you all heard that we got some furniture from a garage sale, well we also got a coffee table from KSL and refinished it too! It was really cool, like the top was made out of a wood floor. Well it was a lot of fun to do these projects, but also hard! I had no idea it was so hard to sand, and stain! They are not perfect, but they look better than they did, and it saved us a lot of money. Here are some pics

Moving, and crazy!

So life has been crazy these past few weeks, so I have not updated in a while! We got all moved into our new place! We love it, it is really cute. I will have to post some pictures when it is all the way put together. Tyceson got to transfer his work from Salt Lake to down here, now he is only like 5 minutes from where we live, it ended up perfect! And he goes to school at Monday-Thursday nights, that sucks, but people keep telling me someday it will all pay off! Kennady is getting funnier and cuter everyday, I know I might be prejudice, but seriously she is so fun. I never thought I would love being a mom as much as I do. I just love my little family, and I am so grateful for Ty, he works more than 40 hours a week and goes to school full time, thanks Ty for making things work for our family! Me and Kennady love and miss you all the time. My work is going good, it is so nice to be able to work from home, and I love what I do.

Well anyway here is some funny pictures of Kennady at Grandma Low's house. I went to the dentist to get my new veneer! Yeah!! But anyway Grandma put on Sesame Street and Kennady took out all the books out of this basket and grabbed her blanket and sat inside for like a half hour and watched Sesame Street! So Funny!

Moving!

We have decided to move! We have been looking for a place in Utah county to buy for some time now, and we have not found anything we like! Ty is finishing school at UVU, so we decided to try and buy a condo down there and live in for a few years, then use as an investment and rent out. Well we still have not found one we like, and Ty already started school, so we found a basement apartment in Lindon really close to Parker and Heidi (1.3 miles to be exact). We are really excited, the people just built the house and the basement is brand new, no one has ever lived in it. It is a 6 month thing while we keep looking for places to buy. So we are moving in a couple of weeks. We will have to post pics when we move in.

Helping Daddy!

Ty and I decided (well I bought them while he was at class, so I guess I decided!!) to buy 2 dressers from this garage sale fundraiser thing in Orem for 25 dollars and fix them up! Needless to say it took a lot longer to get them how we want them than we thought! Ty and his dad sanded them, and I helped stain! Kennady helped her dad sand, and watched him intently! She is so obsessed with her dad and loves him so much. He is her first love! Every morning when she wakes up and I go get her she says "Dadda" or "Grandpa" Never mom!! She loves when he is around and just follows him around all the time! She is so lucky to have a Dad that loves her so much, thanks Ty for being such an amazing Dad! Well the dressers are still not done, but we are getting closer everyday. Don't look at the picture of me too close, I chipped my front tooth! I chipped it a long time ago when I was little, but it chipped again about 10 days ago while eating raisin bran. I am hopefully getting it fixed this Friday, I am getting a venere! So it will look better. I now have a new nick name "Chip"
