July 4th- Scrapbook weekend

Every year the Low girls go to California for national scrapbook day with Ty's Grandma Lloyd. It is usually in May, but this year with all the crazy schedules and stuff, Grandma did her scrapbook day but we decided to go to St. George over the 4th of July weekend to scrapbook for just us girls and Grandma. Megan is also included in the "Low" girls, she is basically family :) But as we started thinking we thought it would be fun to have the boys come and watch the babies and make us food and help us out. So we had it all set up, the boys would hang out in Ty's parents house while the girls all scrapbooked at Ty's Grandparents house (they are across the street from each other up by Green Valley resorts in the cottages). The boys were also given the opportunity to go golfing one morning as a break from cooking and watching kids! Well this weekend seemed perfect, but it went nothing like perfect! When we all first got there it was Kennady's actual birthday so before we left Ty and I had a little celebration with her and gave her a few presents from us. We had a little family party on Friday night with cake, Cheryl ordered this adorable Ariel cake for her! Well when we got there Thursday night Megan realized she forgot all of her pictures, so as we were figuring out to print them at Costco, I realized I forgot my pictures too! So we got online and ordered the pics.

Friday morning- Heidi started throwing up Friday morning! Race had some diarrhea, but we thought nothing of it, we thought she had acid reflux from being pregnant. Later that day Parker started throwing up! Oh no, it was the flu! We all tried to stay away and keep things clean. Friday night Ty and Trent took Cayden to go get some smoothies for everyone and on the way Cayden threw up all over in our car! Poor kid, it was every where and he was just sitting in it, it was soo sad! So they got back and we cleaned it all up and steamed our car and Kennady's car seat really well. We all hung out outside while Andrea painted the little girls toe nails and finger nails and ate popscicles. Poor Race still had bad diarrhea, he was going through diapers like crazy and Parker and Heidi were still not feeling well so everyone was pitching in helping. That night Keith started feeling sick along with Grandpa Lloyd, and Cheryl!

Saturday- The boys went golfing, things were looking up as far as we could tell with the sickness stuff. Ellyit had got sick during the night and Andrea was up all night with her. We took Skyler and Kennady, Cayden and Race to the St. George 4th of July parade, we missed it, but what we saw was not that great! Ty and I decided to go see my brother and his family in Las Vegas, they had recently moved there for school, Saturday afternoon. We headed out feeling pretty good, relieved to get out of the sick house! On the way down I started feeling weird, but thought it was car sickness. Once we got to Chad's house about an hour after we got there I started throwing up! Everyone went swimming and hung out while I was laying on Chad's living room floor trying not to get on the couch or anything to get them sick throwing up about every 45 minutes! It was awful, I have never been that sick in my entire life! This continued for about 18 hours constant throwing up every 45 minutes! They all came back and ate pizza and watched a movie instead of our normal plans to go hang out in Vegas. They decided to get the kids to bed, and they went upstairs and all of a sudden Emily comes down and Kennady had thrown up all over the floor in front of Andalynn and Porters room! GREAT! So we got all cleaned up and Chad made us sleep in his bed that night so we could sleep good. Kennady and I kept throwing up for a few hours, and finally got a few hours of sleep!
Saturday in St. George- Meanwhile in St. George Grandma Lloyd got sick, Megan got sick, Ellyit was still sick. So far out of 17 people 14 of them had already gotten sick! Crazy!

Sunday- We hung out with Chad in Vegas, had a great time. We ate dinner at my cousins house who lives in the same complex Chad does and her family, it was really fun to see them and get to hang out with them since we never see them! We did some sparklers and pops outside, the kids loved it! Ty was not feeling great, he didn't throw up but felt off. We got back to St. George and got updated on all the sickness. We missed fireworks in St. George, but got to see fireworks all through Vegas driving home!

Monday- We got up and everyone was starting to feel ok. Andrea had left Sunday morning with Keith and Cheryl's car to get her kids home. Once she got home Skyler and he friend Rylee got sick! We cleaned up the house and did a little scrapbooking then stopped at Brick Oven in St. George on the way home.

Needless to say we didn't do much scrabooking, we did a lot of cleaning, sleeping, and taking care of everyone being sick. Luckily Chad and his family didn't get sick from us! Out of the 17 people that went on this vacation 15 of us got sick! Andrea and Trent were the only lucky ones! I can't believe Andrea didn't get it, but she was so lucky, it was a quick flu but a wicked one! Over all it was nice to get away, and we love and appreciate all the Lloyd's and Keith and Cheryl did to make this a great trip, it was a bummer it ended up so crazy! Sorry long post, but here are some pics from that weekend!

Kennady 3rd Birthday! Princess Party!

Prepare for my blog catch up! I am going to post one a night until I am caught up and Kennady's bday is July 1st so a lot to go!! And I can't really remember what happened in June so I need to go through my pics and figure it out!

Well Kennady is in love with the princesses right now, and so when I asked her what she wanted for her birthday cake she said she wanted a castle cake! So I attempted to make a castle cake the best that I could. Her birthday was pretty crazy, we were actually in St. George that weekend since it was the 4th of July weekend (that post to come next :)) so we celebrated her birthday the following weekend and decided to have family and a few friends over to the park by our house to have cake and ice cream. Kennady is such a smart little girl. She can talk your head off, she knows how to say everything, and sometimes when she talks I think "where did she learn how to say that?" She sings quite a few songs, many primary songs, she knew her primary part song for the program perfect, at night I sing her songs and have so since she was a little baby and she now can sing all of those songs every word, and she knows a lot of princess songs too that she can sing all the way through. She has such a cute personality, she loves being around people and is usually pretty friendly with everyone. She is not very big, she only weighs like 26 lbs. Kennady loves to dress up as princesses, and watch princess movies and play with barbies. Poor Ty grew up with all boys, and our house is pretty girly lately but he does know all the princess movies and is getting to know all the songs! He is a good sport. Well Kennady mom and dad love you so much and am so proud of what a wonderful little girl you are becoming! I can't believe she is already 3, I love her so much and we have so much fun together. It seems like yesterday we were bringing her home! Time flies so fast. I can't wait to keep watching her grow and learn! Love you lots little Dee! "I will love you forever, I will like you for always, as long as I am living my "little girl" you will be!" I say this to her every night, it is from my favorite book, but she made me change baby to little girl, cause she is not a baby anymore!

Special Olympics Summer Games

This year for the Special Olympics Summer Games Bingham played soccer. The even was at BYU. The night before we all went down to the opening ceremonies to watch the torch run. They had this amazing hot air balloon that was out in the softball fields at BYU. They did a receiving line, where all the athletes walk in and parade through, just like the olympics! Our kids were so excited, it was amazing! Kennady and Ty came with me and it was such an enjoyable experience! The Jazz bear was there giving high fives through the athlete line while there was a live band playing music, it was a party! Our team during the games took the Silver Medal, they played so good and I was so proud of them, and love being apart of the Special Olympics!
