2009

Well 2009 has been crazy so far and I can't believe it is already February! Basketball is in full swing and I have been so busy with that, working from home, and my family that I don't have much time for anything else. My little team is doing ok, they have struggled at first, but they are coming around and it is so amazing to me how many life lessons we learn everyday! I am not just teaching basketball, sometimes I feel like I never get to teach basketball, but life things all the time! It is really fun, but very crazy and sometimes stressful. Last night my brother came in from Idaho and we decided to take the kids to McDonalds to play in the play place while we ate, it was so fun! I didn't think that Kennady would really get that into it, but we couldn't get her away from it. We turned around and she was already up the stairs going through the tubes, she had no fear! We all had fun, and at one point all the adults went through the tubes and down the slide, well except my dad! My silly mom was so funny, she went first! Then we all had contests to see who could hang on these bars the longest, put it to us to turn something into a competition! Than we just went back to my moms and watched a movie together while Chelsey waxed all our eyebrows. It was a fun night!

So Kennady has this new thing that she is kind of a destroyer, that is her nick name! But she likes to take everything out of the bathroom and every room and spread it all over! It is so funny though. So here are a few pictures of her latest destructions!

Christmas

Here are some pictures of our Christmas day at our house and Ty's parents house and my parents house. Ty and I decided to get pajamas for Christmas, I got into the Christmas pajamas for me with the red and green, Ty's were boring! We had a fun day and here are some pictures.

Cheryl and Keith gave her the cutest little people house with a car to go with it and some toys and this ABC thing that goes on the fridge, it is so cute she loves it.

Wow, so I am obviously not good at keeping up with this, so here we go! We had a great Christmas, I was a little bit of a scrooge for some reason, but it ended up being really fun. We didn't set up our tree cause I didn't want to fight Kennady all the time, so we set up a little tree on our table, it was still cute and Christmasy! Kennady had a lot of fun, we decided to get her a fun little kitchen for her and we were so excited to set it up on Christmas eve, but when we went to do that it didn't come with any hardware to put it together! We were really bummed, but Kenady still had some fun presents. We were very lucky to have such a fun day. To start off the holiday is of course family parties. The Duke party was first and my Dad read a story to us called the Wooden Shoes and it was really touching. The kids mostly liked to take ornaments off of Grandma's tree!

Of course later I forgot some pj's for Kennady and my mom had these pajamas that probably I wore when I was little. They were pretty big, and old, my family kept saying that she looked homeless! It was so funny so I took pics of her when we got home.

Birthday Dinner

After we got back from St George we had my brothers birthday dinner since he was in town. We had dinner at my moms and Kennady somehow got Chelseys heels on and was just walking around in them thinking she was pretty cute! She is all girl! Boston was into the balls he was playing with, he is all boy!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we always go to St George with Ty's family. His moms family lives in California, and his grandparents and Ty's parents both have a house down there across the street from each other so everyone meets for Thanksgiving! We have been going since we got married, I think this was our 4th year going. It is always really fun. Dinner is always good and we love the food, thanks Grandma! Ty's grandpa has a karaoke machine, and this was a really fun thing this year. Ty and Parker loved it a little too much, look out American Idol! But we all sang and had a good time. Cheryl paid for her and her daughter in laws to all get facials at a salon down there, it was amazing! Thanks Cheryl! Also On friday we went early out to Roberts to get some cricket stuff for Cheryl and Grandma, it was really fun. On friday the boys go golfing, and the girls go to a place called Brushfire where you paint pottery. It is so much fun I look forward to it every year. This year I made a cereal bowl for Ty. I will post a picture when we get it. Here are some pics of the weekend!
